LUNDELL Quality.jpg

We train our staff so they are able to identify quality, environment and safety aspects and work in a responsible way. We develop lightweight structure systems and solutions producing added value together with our customers.

We focus particularly on benefits brought by the systems throughout the entire lifespan of a building and encourage our customers to take lifespan based decisions. We aim to minimize environmental impacts during the lifespan by continuously improving the environmental efficiency and energy cost-efficiency of our products.

We comply with laws, decrees and regulations in force in everything we do. We nurture open and honest communication and confidential relationships with our staff and customers. Our work is based on long-term customer relationships.

External inspections and internal auditing are tools used by our management. The management assesses reached targets and keeps the most important points, aims and targets up-to-date. Ensuring comprehensive quality guarantees the most important thing for us, a satisfied customer.

CE-Marking

CE MARKING OF PRODUCT BUILDING PRODUCT

With CE marking, a manufacturer can ensure that the properties of a construction product are in line with the harmonised European product standard, or the European technical approval (ETA).

CE marking is the manufacturer's declaration that the product meets the requirements of relevant directives. The marking is obligatory, and it shall be affixed to products if this is required by the relevant directive. Other products shall not be labelled with a CE marking. There are more than 20 directives requiring a CE marking. CE marking shall be attached to e.g. machinery, electric appliances, toys, personal protective equipment, and pressure equipment.

In addition to requirements concerning the product, the directives include requirements on the attestation of conformity. Certain products shall, for example, be tested before affixing the CE marking.

EPD Environment Product Declareation

REDUCING THE CARBON FOOTPRINT OF BUILDINGS

Building and construction produces a lot of greenhouse gas. We at Aulis Lundell Oy want to do our share and show our carbon footprint. We are proud to present the EPD documents for Gypsteel-steel profiles, lightweight steel profiles and heavyweight steel profiles. The environment product declarations is a third-party verified by The Norwegian EPD Foundation.

What is an EPD?

Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an independently verified and registered document that communicates transparent and comparable information about the life-cycle environmental impact of products. As a voluntary declaration of the life-cycle environmental impact, having an EPD for a product does not imply that the declared product is environmentally superior to alternatives.
